How To Weatherize Your Garage Door

If you experience cold drafts in your home during the winter and sealing the doors and windows to your home hasn't solved the problem, the culprit may be your garage door. Cold air can leak in around the garage door and whisk its way through the house, leaving you wondering where it is coming from. Winterizing the garage door may cut down on cold drafts and lower your energy bills too.

About Me

Old Home, New Garage Door

My name is Sam. My wife and I recently purchased a house that was built in 1945 and we just love it. There is so much we never want to change. The previous owners have kept the old charm alive, and we want to continue to do the same. The only thing we did have to change was the garage door. The house has a small detached one car garage. The existing garage door was not automatic and was too heavy for my wife to open. When shopping, we were thrilled with the garage door options. We didn’t have to compromise the old charm of our home by adding a modern garage. I’m going to share about our garage door shopping experience. I hope you find this to be of interest!
